March Court 1714/15 Daorn being Called Came And in his Proper Person appears to the Same and prays that he may be discharged from the afd Recognizance ordered by this Court here that the Same Recognizance be discharged as also his Suretys Recognizance for his appearance &ca James Daorn afd his Recognizance taken in the Sume of Tenn pounds Sterling to. be leavied &ca. in Case he did not make his personall appearance at this Court and to . Answer unto all Such matters and things as Shall be objected against him by a Certain- Janet Gibbin who on the twenty first day of March last before the Said M.r William Pott. Charged him upon Oath that She was then with Child by him the Sd James which when She Shall be delivered will be base Child &ca The Same Recognizance is by this Court here discharged &ca Gideon Pearce at the Same time last mentioned before the Said M.r William Pott. entered into Recognizance for the appearance of the afd James Daorn in the Sume of five pounds Sterling &ca to be leaveyed &ca. and that the Said James was to Answer as afd. The Same Recognizance is by this Court here discharged &ca ordered by the Court here that the Said James Daorn give new Surty and ent.r into Recognizance for his appearance to next Court to Answer unto what Shall . be layd to his Charge on Account of his Committing fornication w.th the afd Janet Gibbin as by her Oath apprs. taken before the Said M.r Wm Pott &ca on which the afd James Daorn Comes into Court and Acknowledges himselfe Indebted to . his Majestie King George in the Sume of Tenn pounds Sterling to her Leaveyed on his Goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the Said James doth not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County and then and there to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him on behalfe of his Majestie on Account of the afd Janet Gibbin Charging him on her oath that he hath begott her w.th Child which when She Shall be delivered will be a base born Child . to which the Sd James Acknowledged himselfe therewith Content~ Likewise Came into Court M.r William Pott and M.r Gideon Pearce and Acknowledged . themselves indebted to his Majestie King George his heirs and Successrs. in the full and Just~. Sume of five pounds Sterling Each to be Leveyed on their Severall goods and Chattells .
