   Courts & Jurisdiccõns belonging to that the Same may be Inspected & by due Course
   of Law determined Witness our trusty and well beloved John Hart Esquier our
   Cap.t Gen.l and Governour in Chiefe in and over this our province of Maryland
   and the Territories thereunto belonging this third day of November in the

     George by the Grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland
   King Defender of the Ffaith &ca. To William Pott Edward Scott William
   Comegys and Lambert Wilmer of Kent County Gent-. Greeting we do hereby
   Authorize and Empower you or any of you to Administer the Oaths appointed.
   by Act of Parliament to be taken Instead of the Oaths of allegiance and
   Supremacy the Oaths of abjuration and the Accustomed oath of Justices to James.
   Harris Michael Miller S.t Leager Codd and William Blay or any of them-
   and you the Said James Harris Michael Miller St Leager Codd and William—
   Blay or any of you taken the Said Oaths are Empowered to Administer the.
   Same unto the Justices and Commissioners Respectively as they are nominated.
   in the within Commission and will that you and every of you haveing taken the
   Oaths do Severally Subscribe the Test and the afd Oaths of Abjuration and
   for So doeing this Shall be your Suff.t Warrant and Authority hereof faile
   not and when you have the Same done you are to Certifie the Same under
   your hands and Sealls unto us in our high Court of Chancery with all Conve:
