June Court 1714 27 Worton & Ffarlo Creeks &ca. against ye peace And that he have then & there this precept &ca. . Att which Said next Court viz.t the Second day of March in the yeare afd the Day of Return of Same precept Came James Harris Gentleman high Sherrife of Said County & made Return Thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as followeth viz.t Summoned pr Ja Harris Sherf: But the Same was Continued to the then next Court in Course in Course &ca Att which Said next Court vizt the fourth day of June Annoque Domi one Thousand Seven hundred & fourteen the Said Cause Standing for tryall Came the Said William Howard in his proper Person and appeared to the above Indictm.t and the Same being Read to him and being Asked whether he was guilty or not guilty of the Same Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Same nor but that he is Guilty of ye premises in Layd in the Same Indictment And Submits himselfe wholly to this Court in the Same . Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz the Same day last mentioned That there by Recovered form the afd William Howard as well the Sume of One hundred pounds of Tobacco Debt According to Act of assembly in Such Case made &ca. And also the Sume of Two hundred and forty two pounds of Tobacco Cost Accrueing to the officers of this Court on the Premises afd. Jams Smith Clk
