                                         March Court 1715
   associates then Justices of the peace for our Said Lady ye Queen ( in Court Judi:
  :cially Sitting then held for Kent County afd in a Cause then and there .
   depending Between Richard Smithers of Said County Gent and Mary his
   wife (nuper Dicta) Mary Carvill Executrix of ye last will & Testament of~
   John Carvill like of Said County Gent~ deceased Plts & Daniel Pearce of
   Kent County in ye Province of Maryland Gent~ alis Dics Danl. Pearce of~
   Kent County Inholder Deft~. ye Said Plt recovered Judgment ag.st the Said -
   Deft~ Daniel Pearce as well for the Sume of Tenn pounds Sterling good
   and Lawfull money of old England certain debt whereof he is Convict as.
   appears upon Record as also the Sume of four hundred Sixty Six pounds
   of Tobacco Cost of Suite and for the Same Execution have not thereupon
   Yet Issued wee Therefore Command y.o that by good and Lawfull men of yo.r
   Baylwick y.o make known unto the Said Daniel Pearce that he be & apr
   before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in-
   the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in August next to —
   Shew Cause if any he have why Execution Should not Issue forth ag.st him
   for the Debt & Cost in the Judgment afd Specified and how you Shall Execute
   this writ that y.o make known unto the Justices of our Said Court at the day .
   and place afd last mentioned hereof you are not to faile at your perill
   and have y.o then and there the names of the persons before whom you
   Shall make ye Same known & this writ witness James Harris Gent~.
   chiefe Justice of our Said Court this 27.th day of June in the first Year of~
   our Reigne &ca. Anno Domi 1715 T Bowne pr ye Plts.       Jams Smith Clk
   Att which Said next Court viz the Sixteenth day of August in ye Second
   Year of his Majesties Reigne &ca the day of return of Said writ Came Will.m
   Frisby Gent~ high Sherf of Said County & made return thereof in these
   words thereon Endorsed as folls viz.t are to Certifie the Justices within-
   mentioned that I have made known unto the within Mentioned Danl-
   Pearce that he be and appear at the day & place within Specified to Shew
   Cause if any he have why Execution Should not pass against him for the debt
   & Cost within Specified to Satisfie to ye within named Richard Smithers &ca.
   Mary his wife Ex.rx of the within mentioned John Carvill &ca. and have
