                                                   June Court 1714                                                    16 
   Severall Suites at Law & Equity. at the Especial Instance and request of the Said Mary
   Pope in her life time for & on the Behalfe & in ye name of a Certain Thomas
   Howell her Sonn in ye Provinciall Court of Maryland & in ye High Court of Chancery
   of the Same Province in which Courts he ye. Said Thomas Macnemara did then
   [illegible] as an Attorney. & ye other four hundred pounds of Tobacco being for a fee
   due to ye Said Thomas Macnemara for defending her the Said Mary in her Life time
   at her Speciall Instance in an Accõn before that time Brought in ye Provinciall
   Court of Maryland afd against her by a Certain Benjamin Braine all which—
   fees appears in ye Account hereto Annexed | ye Said Mary in her Life time in
   Consideration thereof & for that ye Said Thomas Macnemara Acquitted ye Sd Tho.s
   Howell of & from ye payment of ye Said Two Thousand Eight Hundred pounds of
   Tobacco at Annopolis in Kent County afd & within ye Jurisdiccõn afd the day
   & year afd Assumed upon herselfe & to ye Said Thomas Macnemara then &
   there faithfully did Promise that She the Said Mary ye Said Three Thousand
   two hundred pounds of Tobacco to the Said Thomas Macnemara when after=
  :wards She Should be thereunto required would well & truly Content & pay
   Nevertheless ye afd Mary in her Life time or ye Said David after the death.
   of ye Said Mary ye Promise & Assumpcõn of ye Said Mary in her Life time
   So as afd made little regarding but Contriveing & fraudulently Intending ye.
   Same Thomas Macnemara in this part Craftily & Subtilly to deceive & defraud
   the Said Mary in her Life time or ye Said David Since ye Death of the Said Mary
   ye Said Sume of Three Thousand two Hundred pounds of Tobacco or any part thereof
   to ye Said Thomas Macnemara (although ye Said Mary in her Life time afterwards
   to witt) ye tenth day of October in ye Year of our Lord God one Thousand Seven—
   Hundred and Seven afd and ye Said David after ye. death of ye Said Mary (to Witt)
   ye tenth day of November in ye Year of our Lord God one Thousand Seven Hundred
   & thirteen at Annopolis in Kent County afd & within ye Jurisdiccõn afd by ye Same
   Thomas Macnemara were thereto required) have not paid or Satisfied nor hath
   either of them paid or Satisfied ye Same but they ye Same to him to pay or -
   Satisfie hitherto altogether have Refused and ye. Said David ye Same to ye Said
   Thomas Macnemara to pay or Satisfie Still doth Refuse, whereupon ye Said -
   Thomas Macnemara Saith he is Dampnified & hath [Losses?] to ye value of Six -
