                                    March Court 1715                                             142  
   Sum of Seven hundred ninety eight pounds of Tobacco balle as afd declared
   and is willing that Judgment Should be entred for the Same and Cost thereon
   accrueing. Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. this twenty -
   Second day of March Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred &
   Ffifteen That the Said James Harris Plt. Recover against the Said Deft~.
   Christopher Knight as well the Sume of Seven hundred ninety Eight
   pounds of Tobacco Damages and also the Sume of Two hundred ninety
   five pounds of Tobacco Cost by the Said Plt about his Suite in this —
   behalfe laid out and expended and by the Court here of his assent~.
   adjudged and the Said Deft. in mercy &ca.

   Benjamin Griffiths | Commanded it was to the Sherf of
                at | Kent County the Sixteenth day of Novemb.r
   Christopher Knight— | in the Second year of the reigne of his -
   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | now Majestie George &ca. That he take
   Christopher Knight of Kent County Planter ali Dics Christopher Knight if
   he Shold be found in his Baylwick and himselfe Safe keep So that he
   have his body before his Said Majesties Justices of the next Court to
   be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County [to]
   Answer unto Benjamin Griffiths of a plea that he render to him
   ye Sum of five hundred and fifty pounds of Marchantable Tobacco
   & Cask to Contain ye Same of ye value forty five Shillings & ten—
   pence Sterling money of Great Brittaine which he unjustly detains
   &ca. And that he have then and there the Said writ &ca. Att which
   Said next Court vizt. the twentieth day of March ye Same year last
   mentioned the day of return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent
   high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words.
   thereon endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Sher~..
   And a Decln being filed when Said writ Issued forth and a Copy —
   thereof Served therewith (according to Act of Assembly in Such Case~.
   made) was as folls vizt. Kent County Ss Christopher Knight of Kent County —
