   ali Dics John Inggrum of ye County of Kent aforesaid Coopr was Summoned to
   Answer unto William Harrcum of Said County Taylar of a plea that he render
   to him ye. full and just Sume of foure hundred & fifty five pounds of —
   every way well qualified Marchantable leafe Tobacco clear from all man:
   :ner of Trash and ground leav’s and old Tobacco in Cask to Containe ye —
   Same of ye value of one pound Seventeen Shillings & Eleven pence Sterling
   money which he unjustly detains &ca. And Whereupon the Said William
   by Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that Whereas the afd John ye twenti:
  :eth day of July Anno Domi Seventeen hundred and fourteen at ye .
   parish of St Paul in Kent County afd within ye Jurisdiccõn of this Court
   by his Certain writing obligatory which the Said John Sealed with his
   Seale and as his deed delivered hereinto Court brought ye date: whereof
   is the Same day and year afd bound and obliged himselfe his heires
   Executors & Adm.rs to pay or cause to be paid unto ye afd William
   ye afd full and just Sume of foure hundred & fifty five pounds of every
   way well qualified Marchantable leafe Tobo Clear from all manner of
   trash and ground leaves & old Tobacco in Cask to Contain ye Same of ye.
   afd value of one pound Seventeen Shillings & Eleaven pence Sterling -
   money upon ye dwelling Plantacõn of the Said William at or upo[n]
   ye tenth day of 9.ber next ensuing ye date of the Said writing obligatory
   yet ye afd John althõ often required ye afd four hundred & fifty five
   pounds of Tobacco unto ye Said William hath not rendered nor paid
   nor Caused to be paid but the Same to render or pay ye Said John hath
   hitherto hath denied and Yet denys & unjustly detains to ye damage
   of the Said William four pounds Sterlg money & thereupon he brings
   Sute &ca.   TBowne pr Quer pls &ca. Jno Doe Richd Roe .
   the Said Deft~ being Called Came and in his proper person appeared
   and the Said Plt. by his Said attry Prays that the Sd Deft may give
   Special bayle to the afd Accõn which was Granted and that he be .
   kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give .
   Special bayle After which Came into Court Michael Byrne of Sd Coty.
