       Prince Georges County Sct
       I William A Jarboe Register of Wills for said county in said state
       do hereby certify that the bearer hereof Mary Elizabeth Thomas
       a bright mulatto girl four feet and eleven inches in height
       heretofore bound to the late Owen Norfolk by the Orphans Court
       of said county who did upon the application of said Norfolk
       entered the said Mary E Thomas term of service on the eighteenth
       day of February eighteen hundred and fifty one until December
       25.th eighteen hundred and fifty five or one year And that
       no further extension of her term of service appearing on the record
       of my office she the said Mary E Thomas is free and at liberty to
       dispose of her services as she chooses

             (Seal)      In testimony whereof I hereto set my hand
                            and affix the seal of the Orphans Court this
                            twenty eighth day of December eighteen
                            hundred and fifty five
