          On this 2nd day April 1849 appeared
       W.m L Von Han before the subscriber
       a Justice of the Peace in and
       for said County and made
       oath on the Holy Evangely of
       Almighty God that negro woman
       Theresa Butler (formerly Theresa
       Brookes) is a free born woman
       and that her mother and reputed father were left free by
       will of Mrs Mary G Hardy
                                        Sworn before
