       said County recorded & left free by said

                                Prince Georges County sct
       I William A Jarboe Register of wills for
       Prince Georges County as hereby Certify
       that the bearer hereof Negro Man Ben
       who calls himself Ben Waring rather
       light complexion five feet three inches
       and a half high a scar on the back of his
       neck and a long scar in the forehead running
       to the left eye and two upon the left
       wrist is a free Man of Color and
       became entitled thereto by a codicil to
       the last will and testament of Mary
       Chesley late of said County deceased
       bearing date May the eighth eighteen
       hundred and thirty seven duly
       proven and Now upon record remaining
       in the office of the register of wills
       for said County
                         In testimony whereof I
                         hereunto set my hand
                         and affix the seal of the Orphans
                         Court of Prince Georges County this 24.th
                         day of May 1858
