                         State of Maryland Prince Georges County
                   I hereby certify that on this 4.th day of May
       eighteen hundred and fifty seven before me the subscriber
       one of the justices of the peace in and for the
       Said County and state personally appeared John J
       Wilson and made oath on the Holy Evangely
       of Almighty God that Charles Henry Taylor the
       Son of Racheal Taylor a free coloured woman
       of the said County was free born and is entitled
       to his free papers the said Charles Henry is about
       twenty seven years of age witness my hand
       the day and year first before written
