       Maryland Prince Georges County Sc.t

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a black man
       who calls himself Frank Contee about fifty years of age
       five feet eight inches and an half high who has a scar
       on the top of his head just above the right eye and who
       was raised in the family of the late Thomas Contee is a
       freeman and became entitled to his freedom by a Deed
       of Manumission from John Williams and Mary his wife
       bearing date the third day of December in the year
       seventeen hundred and ninety one which was duly
       acknowledged and recorded in my office

                In testimony whereof I do hereto subscribe my
                name and affix the seal of the county court of
                the county aforesaid this seventeenth day of Dec.r
                in the year eighteen hundred and fifteen

       State of Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Catharine Norris
       a mulatto woman about thirty years of age five feet three
       inches high having two moles one immediately under the
       right eye and the other near the left nostril and who was
       raised in the family of Col.o Patrick Sum of said county
       is a free woman and was adjudged such by Prince Georges
       County Court at September Term eighteen hundred and
       fifteen on her petition for freedom against the said
       Col.o Patrick Sim
