       Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof William Hanson
       a dark mulatto youth about nineteen years of age
       five feet four and a half inches high is a freeman
       being the reputed son of Milley Hanson a free born
       woman of colour and

                In testimony thereof I do hereto subscribe my name
                and affix the seal of the county court of said
                county this fourteenth day of July in the year of our
                Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen

       freedom in Prince Georges County Court April Term
       Seventeen hundred and Ninety Six from the rev.a
