                I hereby certify that negro Walter commonly called
       Walter Lee the bearer hereof a black man about
       twenty eight years of age five feet ten inches high and
       having a scar on the left cheek bone immediately under
       the left eye is a free born person and is the son of
       negro Priscilla who was liberated and set free by
       a certain Elizabeth Newton of the County and
