248 Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Ann who calls herself Ann Hawkins a Dark Mulatto woman about Forty two years of age five feet three and three quarter Inches high has a small scar on the second finger of her left hand occasioned by a cut with a knife That the said woman is free and became Entitled to her freedom in virtue of a deed of manumission from W.m Bryan to said Ann Hawkins duly recorded in Liber A B N.o 4 one of the Land Records of said County In Testimony &c Cert granted April 25.th 1827 A Beall clk Identified by W.m Bryan Maryland P G Co.ty sc.t I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Ennis who Calls himself Ennis Scott a Bright Mulatto man about twenty seven years old five feet Eight an a half Inches high having a large scar on the right side of his head & two small ones on his forehead all occasioned by cuts that the said Ennis Scott is a free man & became entitled to his freedom in virtue of a deed of manumission from George Calvert bearing date the seventh day of April 1825 and duly recorded in Liber A B N.o 3 page 549 one of the land Records Books of said County Identified by In Testimony &c Cer.t granted May 1.st 1827 Geo Calvert A Beall Clk |
