225 perceptable scar either on her face or hand ^that the said Sarah^ is a free woman and became entitled to her freedom by Virtue of a Deed of Manumission from John Williams & wife to Sundry negros bearing date the third of May 1792 including the said Sarah and that she is the identical person therein mentioned Certif.te granted 5.th June 1826 In testimony &c Identified by Jn.o Williams cert fd A Beall Clk Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Elizabeth (alias Betsey Williams) a bright mulatto woman about twenty three years of age five feet two Inches high a scar on the left wrist and several scars on her right and left arms That the said Elizabeth (alias Betsey is a free woman and became entitled to her freedom by virtue of a Deed of Manumission from Jn.o Williams & wife to Sundry negroes bearing date the third day of May seventeen hundred and ninety two including the said Elizabeth (alias Betsy and that she is the identical person therein named Certif.te granted 8.th June 1826 In testimony &c Indentified by Jn.o Williams A Beall Clk |
