       County on the seventh day of Septmb.r 1815

               Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

          I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Charlotte
       wood a mulatto woman about twenty five years
       of age five feet four & a half inches high having  
       a small scar on her right elbow occasioned by
       a burn is a free woman and entitled to her freedom
       by a Deed of manumission from General Stephen
       West bearing date the twenty ninth day of
       September in the year Eighteen Hundred and
       twenty five

                            In testimony whereof I have hereunto
                            subscribed my name & affid
       Identified by   the public seal of Prince Georges
       Gen.al West   County Court this sixteenth day
                             of November 1825
