186 Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t I hereby certify that Negro Lucy the bearer hereof who calls herself negro Lucy Coolidge of a light complexion about thirteen years of age about five feet six inches high having a large scar on the Back past of the left ancle said to have been occasioned by a Burn is a free girl and became entitled to her freedom by virtue of a Deed of Manumission from Thomas Coolidge to her and recorded in the land records of said county and dated 21st day of May 1818 as by reference thereto willfully appears Given under my hand and seal of office this 11 day of January 1823 Aquila Beall Clk of P G C.ty C.t Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t I hereby certify that the Bearer hereof negro Cornwallis who calls himself Cornwallis Lee a light Mulatto Man about twenty years of age five feet seven Inches high has a scar above the right eye under the Eye Brows has also a scar on the back of the left hand at the Junction of the thumb ^and fore finger^ and a scar which seems to have been occasioned by a Cut on the left side of the head That the said Margaret Adams duly acknowledged and Recorded in my office on the fifth day of May 1807 In Testimony &.c Identified by 12.th Feb.y 1823 Jn.o H Hall Aquila Beall Clk P G C.y C.t |
