        Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                   I hereby certify that Negro Rebecca otherwise
       called Rebecca Lodge the bearer hereof a black woman
       about twenty five years of age five feet two and one half
       inches high has no perceptible marks or scars that the
       said Rebecca is a free woman and was set free by
       Anne Trower of the county aforesaid by manumission
       duly acknowledged & Recorded in my office the 21.st
       day of June 1813

                         In Testimony whereof I have hereto subscribed
                         my name and affixed the public seal of my
                         office this fourth day of September Eighteen
                         hundred and twenty two

       Called Margaret Smith the bearer hereof a black
       woman about nineteen years of age ^five^ feet three inches
       high has a small scar on the under part of the right
       arm near the Elbow which appears to have been occasioned
       by a burn  That the said Margaret Smith is a free woman
       and was set free by Anne Snowden of the county aforesaid
