(III)  BECAUSE OF AN EMERGENCY DECLARED BY THE
GOVERNOR, IS NEEDED TO PROTECT THE HEALTH, WELFARE, OR PROPERTY
OF THE PUBLIC; OR

(IV)  IS SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZED BY THE BUDGET
BILL OR OTHER LAW.

(F). COPIES; REPORT.

(1)  THE GOVERNOR SHALL SEND A COPY OF EACH AMENDED
SCHEDULE TO:

(I)  THE COMPTROLLER; AND

(II)  THE DEPARTMENT OF FISCAL SERVICES.

(2)  SUBJECT TO § 2-1312 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT
ARTICLE, WHEN THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY CONVENES, THE GOVERNOR SHALL
SUBMIT A REPORT ON THE SCHEDULES THAT HAVE BEEN AMENDED UNDER
THIS SECTION SINCE THE LAST SESSION.

(G) EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN AMENDED SCHEDULE IS EFFECTIVE WHEN THE GOVERNOR SENDS THE
SCHEDULE TO THE COMPTROLLER.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from the
first clause of former Art. 15A, § 8(d).

Subsection (b)(1) and (2) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from
former Art. 15A, § 27.

Subsection (b)(3) of this section is new language
derived without substantive change from the third
sentence of former Art. 15A, § 8(e).

Subsection (b)(4) of this section is new language
substituted for the phrase "with the certificate of
approval" in the second clause of the second sentence
of former Art. 15A, § 8(e). This substitution
reflects practice and obviates the need for a separate
document denoted as a "certificate of approval".

Subsection (c) of this section is new language derived
without substantive change from the parenthetical
phrase in the second clause of the second sentence of
former Art. 15A, § 8(a).

Subsection (d)(1) of this section is new language
derived without substantive change from the first,
second, and fourth clauses of former Art. 15A, § 8(f).
