HARRY HUGHES, Governor

899

is intended to cover January 1 to June 30 of the
preceding fiscal year despite the former reference to
the "current budgetary period".

In subsection (b)(1) through (4) of this section, the
word "State" is added to modify the word "revenues",
to clarify that the report covers only revenues of the
State. This addition is nonsubstantive in light of
the broad phrase "from all sources" and the references
to "the sources", which encompass federal and other
special funds.

Defined term: "Chief" § 6-101

6-106. BOARD.

(A)  STUDIES.
THE BOARD SHALL:

(1)  STUDY THE INFORMATION THAT THE BUREAU PROVIDES;

(B)  REPORT.

(1)  ANNUALLY, THE BOARD SHALL SUBMIT TO THE GOVERNOR

(2)  THE GOVERNOR SHALL SEND THE REPORT OF THE BOARD
TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 41, §
194(c).

In subsection (b)(1) of this section, the word
"[a]nnually" is added to state expressly that the
report must be submitted each year.

Also in subsection (b)(1) of this section, the
reference to a "report" that "contains" the itemized
statement is added to encompass the inclusion of
"recommendations", as provided in subsection
(b)(l)(ii) of this section.

In subsection (b)(1)(i) of this section, the word
