(2)  A REVIEW OF SCENIC RIVERS, AREAS OF CRITICAL
STATE CONCERN, COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT PLANS, LOCAL COMPREHENSIVE
PLANS, AND REGIONAL PLANS; AND

(3)  A REVIEW AND USE OF ALL INFORMATION CURRENTLY
AVAILABLE FROM ANY LOCAL GOVERNMENT OR UNIT OF THE STATE
GOVERNMENT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 88C, §
2(c)(1) and (8).

In item (3) of this section, "information" is
substituted for the former words "information and
data", for brevity.

Also in item (3) of this section, the words "unit of
the State government" are substituted for the former
words "State agencies", for consistency with language
used elsewhere in this article.

The General Assembly may wish to consider decodifying
this section as obsolete because the review
requirements mandated by this section were satisfied
during the process of completing the Plan.

5-907. CONTENTS OF PLAN.

THE DEPARTMENT SHALL DEVELOP:

(1)  AN ASSESSMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF
LOCAL COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING PROGRAMS AS THEY RELATE TO THE
PATUXENT RIVER; AND

(2)  RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE CONTINUING ASSESSMENT OF
THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT, AS THEY RELATE TO THE PATUXENT RIVER,
OF:

(I)  PROPOSED MAJOR LAND USE CHANGES; AND

(II)  PROPOSED REGULATORY ACTIONS OR REZONINGS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 88C, §
2(c)(2).

The General Assembly may wish to consider decodifying
this section as obsolete in light of the Plan having
been completed by the Department and adopted by the
General Assembly.
