RESOLUTION NO. R-3-1-84

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ANNEXATION OF CONTIGUOUS LAND
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF INDIAN HEAD, MARYLAND.

WHEREAS, the legislative body of the Town of Indian Head,
Maryland consisting of a Mayor and two Council members is
desirous to extend the legal description of the boundaries of the
Town to incorporate within the corporate limits of the Town of
Indian Head, Maryland the area herein described, and

WHEREAS, the consent has been obtained from not less than
twenty-five per centum (25%) of persons who are residents of the
area to be annexed and who are registered as voters in County
elections and who are owners of not less than twenty-five per
centum (25%) of the assessed valuation of the real property
located in the area to be annexed.

[Section 147.2 of the Charter of the Town of Indian Head,
Charles County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters
of Maryland (1983 Edition), added.

Effective Date July 2, 1984]

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ANNEXATION OF CONTIGUOUS LAND

[Section 147.3 of the Charter of the Town of Indian Head,
Charles County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters
of Maryland (1983 Edition), added.
