(b) The Authority shall construct, operate, and maintain
the bridge in conformance with the provisions of this title;
Article 25, § 236; the trust agreement, dated as of July 1, 1978,
between the Authority and Maryland National Bank; and the laws of
the United States.
(c) The Authority is authorized to enter into other trust
agreements, provide for interrelationships between trust
agreements, and take other actions necessary to construct,
operate, and maintain a bridge across the Choptank River in the
vicinity of Cambridge as a transportation facilities project.
(d) The Authority in preparing or revising any trust
agreement may provide for no or reduced tolls on the Choptank
River Bridge transportation facilities project and increased or
modified tolls on certain other transportation facilities
projects.]

CAMBRIDGE SHALL BE NAMED THE SENATOR FREDERICK C. MALKUS, JR.
BRIDGE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 4-406
of Article - Transportation of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
renumbered to be Section(s) 4-405.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 1612.
This bill alters a definition of "dealer" to include a
person who offers to sell a certain number of vehicles under
certain circumstances for the purposes of licensing and
regulation.
