AN ACT concerning
Day Care Facilities and Services - Licensing and Regulation
- Interagency Workgroup Committee
FOR the purpose of establishing the Interagency Workgroup on Day
Care Facilities and Services under the Department of Human
Resources; providing for the membership of the Workgroup;
requiring the Secretary of the Department of Human Resources
to chair the Workgroup; appoint certain members to the
Workgroup, and adopt certain rules and regulations developed
by the Workgroup, requiring the Workgroup to develop certain
procedures to implement certain rules and regulations;
providing that the rules and regulations developed by the
Workgroup shall require the Department of Human Resources to
administer the consolidated licensing, registration, and
certification of all day care facilities and services,
defining terms, providing that certain rules and regulations
shall be effective on or before a certain date, and
generally relating to rules and regulations consolidating
the licensing, regulation, and certification of day-care
facilities and services.
FOR the purpose of requiring the Governor to establish a
Committee on Day Care Facilities and Services; providing for
the membership of the Committee; defining terms; providing
for certain duties and responsibilities of the Committee;
providing for the issuance of a certain report by a certain
date; and generally relating to a review of the licensing,
registration, and certification of day care facilities and
services.
BY adding to
Article - Family Law
Section 5-558 through 5-560 to be under the new part "Part
VI. Interagency Workgroup Committee on Day Care
Facilities and Services"
