(3) EACH MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL SHALL SERVE WITHOUT
COMPENSATION BUT SHALL BE ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES
UNDER THE STANDARD STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS.
(D) THE COUNCIL MAY ESTABLISH ITS OWN PROCEDURES AND VOTING
REQUIREMENTS BUT SHALL NOT BE SUBJECT TO TITLE 10, SUBTITLE 5, OF
THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE.
(E) THE DEPARTMENTS OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT,
TRANSPORTATION, AND AGRICULTURE SHALL PROVIDE THE COUNCIL WITH
THE NECESSARY STAFF AND SUPPORT SERVICES.
(F) BY DECEMBER 1 OF EACH YEAR, THE COUNCIL SHALL REPORT ON
ITS ACTIVITIES TO THE GOVERNOR AND, SUBJECT TO § 2-1312 OF THE
STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND SUBMIT ANY
RECOMMENDATIONS AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the terms of the
non exofficio members initially appointed to serve terms on the
State Trade Policy Council beginning on July 1, 1985 shall be,
except for the local government officials or employees, 4 2 for
a term of 1 year, 4 for a term of 2 years, 4 for a term of 3
years, and 5 for a term of 4 years. The terms for the appointed
local government officials or employees shall be co-extensive
with the official term of chief executive official of that
jurisdiction at the time of appointment.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of this Act creating the State Trade Policy Council shall
terminate and be of no effect after July 1, 1995, without any
further action of the General Assembly.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
