Agriculture in areas that affect State international trade
activities and programs; and

WHEREAS, The General Assembly intends that an international
trade program be undertaken by the State that increases existing
trading relationships and encourages the development of new
relationships, including those with third world countries;

WHEREAS, The Governor, to implement the recommendations of
the World Trade Efforts Commission, the Joint Committee on
Federal Relations, Executive Branch Cabinet Secretaries, and the
private sector has presented at the 1985 Session of the General
Assembly a comprehensive program to improve Maryland's
international trade efforts for the well-being of the citizens of
this State; now, therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Departments

(a) The following agencies, boards, commissions, councils,
corporations, authorities, trusts, and divisions shall be
included within the Department of Economic and Community
Development:

(1) The Maryland membership unit of the Appalachian
Regional Commission;

Development Credit Corporation of Maryland;

Division of Economic Development;

Maryland Advisory Commission on Atomic Energy;

Maryland Arts Council;

Maryland Historical Trust;

Maryland Industrial Development and Financing

(8)  Maryland membership unit of the Southern
Interstate Nuclear Board;

(9)  St. Mary's City Commission;

(10)  Community Development Administration;
