appropriate staff resources to serve the Commission; and be it

A House Joint Resolution concerning
Disabled Persons - Program Expansion - Fiscal Plan
FOR the purpose of requesting the Department of Budget and Fiscal
Planning to develop and submit to the General Assembly by a
certain date a 5-year plan, beginning with fiscal year 1986;
to secure the necessary fiscal resources to year 1987, to
identify the level of fiscal resources necessary to
implement certain plans for program expansion of services to
the retarded mentally retarded and nonretarded
developmentally disabled.
WHEREAS, There are 2400 mentally retarded and 1100
nonretarded developmentally disabled people on the waiting list
for community-based residential and day programs funded by the
Mental Retardation Developmental Disabilities Administration,
(MRDDA); and
