AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Real Property - Recording Requirements

FOR the purpose of permitting property to be transferred on the
assessment books or records in St. Mary's County during
certain months if instead of paying the taxes required on a
property transfer by assumption, a lender files a certain
certification with the County Treasurer; providing upon
receipt of the certification the St. Mary's County Treasurer
shall endorse on the deed a certification and the
endorsement shall be sufficient authority for transfer on
the assessment books; and generally relating to the transfer
on assessment books or records of property in St. Mary's
County of certain type deeds.

section, property may not be transferred on the assessment books
or records until:
