inspectors, and employees of the Board from participating in
certain unethical practices while serving the Board;
providing for terms of the members and inspectors; providing
for the reappointment of a member' and appointment of a
certain inspector; requiring a position to be upgraded; and
generally relating to the membership of the Board of License
Commissioners in Frederick County- and the inspectors and
employees of the Board.

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 149 and 155(1)

BY adding to

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 149, 155(1), and 158(s)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Replacement Volume and 1984 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 149 and 155(1) of Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

149.

(A) (1) THERE IS A BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS IN
FREDERICK COUNTY.

(2)  THE BOARD CONSISTS OF 3 MEMBERS.

(3)  THE GOVERNOR SHALL APPOINT THE MEMBERS OF THE

BOARD.

PERSON:

INTEGRITY;

(4) TO QUALIFY FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD, A
(I) SHALL BE OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER AND

THE COUNTY;

AND

(II) SHALL REASONABLY REFLECT THE CITIZENRY OF
