In subsections (a)(1) and (3) and (f)(3)(i) and (4),
the defined term "real property" is substituted for
the former term "land", for clarity.
In subsections (a)(2), (b), (c), and (e) of this
section, the defined term "law" is substituted for the
former words "resolution" and "ordinance", for
clarity.
In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the reference to
"the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City or the
governing body of the county" is substituted for the
former, phrase "the county commissioners or county
council of the county", for clarity.
In subsection (a)(3)(i) of this section, the exception
"in subsection (i) of this section" is added for
clarity.
In subsection (a)(3)(ii) of this section, the former
phrase "for which the owner or predecessor in title"
is deleted as unnecessary since only an owner or a
predecessor in title may convey or assign an easement.
In subsections (b) and (c) of this section, the
references to "the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
City or the governing 'body of a county or of a
municipal corporation" is substituted for the former
reference to "in the particular political
subdivision", for clarity. Similarly, in subsection
(g) of this section, the reference to "county or
municipal corporation" are substituted for the former
reference to "particular political subdivision", for
clarity.
In subsections (b) and (c) of this section, the former
reference to "county school, municipal or property
taxes" is deleted as superfluous.
In subsection (b) of this section, the defined term
"governing body" is substituted for the former
references to "the board of county commissioners",
"county council", and the "mayor and city council, by
whatever name known,", for clarity.
Also in subsection (b) of this section, the former
phrase "in order to encourage and assist the
preservation of open space" is deleted as superfluous.
Also in subsection (b) of this section, the former
reference to a law "enacted under its usual procedure
therefor", is deleted as superfluous.
