REVISOR'S NOTE: Chapter ____, Acts of 1985, amended the
first sentence and deleted the second sentence of this
section.
The requirement to pay money "into the General Fund"
is substituted for the former requirement that the
money be paid "over to the Treasurer and ... become
general funds", to conform to references elsewhere in
the Code and to reflect that, in practice, State units
directly deposit moneys with the depositaries that the
Treasurer designates.
The former second sentence, which required the money
to be disbursed as provided in Md. Constitution, Art.
III, §§ 32 and 52 and Art. 15A of the Code, is deleted
as unnecessary in light of the usual budgetary process
and, in light of the revision of parts of Art. 15A in
the State Finance and Procurement Article, as
partially obsolete.

(c) Penalties collected by the Board under this section
shall be paid [over to the State Treasurer and shall become a
part of the general fund] INTO THE GENERAL FUND of the State.

All fees collected under the provisions of this subtitle
shall be placed in a fund, known as the "Pesticide Fund," and
used to defray partially the expenses of administering this
subtitle. Any unexpended funds shall revert to the [general
funds] GENERAL FUND of the State at the end of the fiscal year.
6-103.
Registration fees constitute a special fund to be used only
to defray partially the cost of inspection, sampling, analysis,
and other expenses necessary for administering this subtitle.
Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Code, any unexpended
funds up to a maximum of $100,000 may not revert to the [general
funds] GENERAL FUND of the State at the end of the fiscal years.
