LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 717

THE GENERAL FUND of the State. [Such moneys shall thereafter be
disbursed by the Comptroller only pursuant to an appropriation
made in accordance with §§ 32 and 52 of Article 3 of the
Constitution or pursuant to the provisions of §§ 1 through 15,
inclusive, of Article 15A of this Code, title "Budget and Fiscal
Planning," as amended from time to time.]

(3) Any fraudulent act or representation by any
applicant in connection with his or her application, registration
or examination shall be sufficient cause for the revocation of
the order admitting him or her to practice.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Chapter ___, Acts of 1985, amended

subsection (d) of this section, to delete the second
sentence of the second paragraph, to designate each
paragraph by number, and to make stylistic changes.

In subsection (d)(2) of this section, the requirement
to pay money "into the General Fund" is substituted
for the former requirement that the money be paid
"over to the Treasurer and ... become general funds",
to conform to references elsewhere in the Code and to
reflect that, in practice, State units directly
deposit moneys with the depositaries that the
Treasurer designates.

The former second sentence of the second paragraph of
subsection (d) of this section, which required the
money to be disbursed as provided in Md.
Constitution, Art. III, §§ 32 and 52 and Art. 15A of
the Code, is deleted as unnecessary in light of the
usual budgetary process and, in light of the revision
of parts of Art. 15A in the State Finance and
Procurement Article, as partially obsolete.

Article 19 - Comptroller

35.

Each county, incorporated city or town, and taxing district
situated within this State, if it has not already done so on or
before June 30, 1966, shall adopt as its period for recording and
reporting all of its fiscal transactions, the fiscal year defined
in [§§ 2 (20a) and 29A of Article 81] ARTICLE 24, § 1-102 of
[this] THE Code, as amended from time to time. Each county,
incorporated city or town and taxing district shall thereafter
keep and maintain its books, records, journals, and fiscal
reports by such method or methods as will permit the accounting
and reporting of all data, statistics, and financial information
contained therein for this fiscal period, and it shall be the
fiscal year for all such political subdivisions.
