SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

(House Bill 1056)

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Alcoholic Beverages - Special Licenses

FOR the purpose of authorizing in Carroll County, the issuance of
special alcoholic beverages licenses for up to 40 events in
a year to any county fire company; providing for certain
license fees based upon the number of special events to be
scheduled by county fire departments in a year; and
specifying that nothing in this Act precludes a fire company
from obtaining a single event special license under other
provisions of the law.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

25.

(0) (1) IN CARROLL COUNTY, THE CLERK OF THE COURT, UPON
APPROVAL OF THE BOARD, MAY GRANT SPECIAL CLASS C BEER, WINE AND
LIQUOR LICENSES WHICH ENTITLE THE HOLDER TO EXERCISE ANY OF THE
PRIVILEGES CONFERRED BY THAT CLASS OF LICENSE AT ANY BONA FIDE
ENTERTAINMENT HELD OR CONDUCTED BY ANY CARROLL COUNTY FIRE
DEPARTMENT.

(2) THE LICENSE SHALL BE IN THE FORM PRESCRIBED BY
THE BOARD, AND THE APPLICANT SHALL SIGN THE LICENSE.

(3) THE ANNUAL FEE FOR A SPECIAL LICENSE IS AS
FOLLOWS:
