SECTION 3 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Recordation and Transfer
Taxes - Ground Rents

FOR the purpose of altering the method of calculating the
recordation and transfer taxes on ground rents and making
the methods identical; and changing the amount on which
those taxes are based.

BY repealing

Article - Tax - Property

Section 12-105(c) and 13-105(a) 13-205(a)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter _____ (S.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1985)

BY adding to

Article - Tax - Property

Section 12-105(c) and 13-105(a) 13-205(a)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter _____ (S.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1985)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 12-105(c) and 13-105(a) 13-205(a) of
Article - Tax - Property of the Annotated Code of Maryland (as

enacted by Chapter ____ (S.B. 1) of the Acts of the General

Assembly of 1985) be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:
