(II) THESE FUNDS SHALL BE REMITTED BY THE
BUREAU IN A TIMELY MANNER TO THE EMPLOYEE'S DESIGNATED
ORGANIZATION.

(2)  THE BUREAU MAY NOT HONOR ANY REQUEST FOR EMPLOYEE
PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF ORGANIZATION DUES UNLESS:

(I)  THE ORGANIZATION WAS GRANTED THIS PRIVILEGE
BEFORE JUNE 30, 1983;

(II)  THE ORGANIZATION HAS A MINIMUM MEMBERSHIP
OF 1,000 STATE EMPLOYEES; OR

(III)  THE GOVERNOR HAS APPROVED THE DEDUCTION
FOR ORGANIZATIONS WITH A POTENTIAL FIELD OF MEMBERSHIP OF LESS
THAN 1,000.

(3)  AN EMPLOYEE MAY CANCEL THE PAYROLL DEDUCTION BY
NOTIFYING THE BUREAU IN WRITING OF THE DECISION TO CANCEL.

(4)  THE COMPTROLLER OF THE TREASURY SHALL ADOPT RULES
AND REGULATIONS TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Alcoholic Beverages - Beer Containers

FOR the purpose of permitting beer to be sold by or delivered to
wholesalers or retail dealers in containers of a size that
is additional to those presently permitted by law codifying
beer container sizes that are currently allowed by law or
regulation; adding certain new beer container sizes to those
currently allowed by law or regulation; and generally
relating to beer container sizes.
