renewal of a license as a master hunting guide; requiring
the master hunting guide to make certain reports at certain
time intervals to the Department of Natural Resources and to
be responsible for certain actions of his agents, employees,
or helpers; providing for the scope of the reports to the
Department; requiring hunters guided by master hunting
guides to have certain hunting licenses; providing for the
effect of certain rules or regulations of the Department
prohibiting the adoption of, or certain requests to adopt,
rules or regulations concerning the licensing of certain
persons; requiring the Department to adopt new rules and
regulations to carry out the purposes of this Act; allowing
the Department to revoke the license of a master hunting
guide for certain violations; providing for the transmission
of certain fees to the Department; and generally relating to
the licensing and conduct of the commercial hunting guide
business to outfit and guide hunters to hunt wild waterfowl.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

[10-309.

(a)  A person desiring to be a commercial hunting guide
first shall obtain a commercial hunting guide license. Licenses
shall be issued in the manner prescribed by § 10-301. The
Department may establish classifications of licensees and set the
fee to be paid by each class not exceeding $10 in any year for
each license.

(b)  The Department may prescribe rules and regulations
governing the duties of guides and requiring an oath that a
licensee shall abide by the wildlife laws of the State.

(c)  A commercial hunting guide may not aid or accompany any
person hunting any game bird or mammal unless the hunter
possesses a proper hunter's license.
