(4)  The renewal of the license shall be for a 1 year
period.

(5)  Any such renewal of the license shall have the
same weight as evidence in any court of this State as provided
for the original license.

(6)  One year renewals shall be granted in like manner
upon expiration of any renewal of license upon making like
application and paying like fee within 3 months preceding the
expiration of the renewal.

(B) (1) THE BOARD SHALL PLACE A LICENSEE ON INACTIVE
STATUS, IF THE LICENSEE SUBMITS TO THE BOARD:

(I) AN APPLICATION FOR INACTIVE STATUS ON THE
FORM REQUIRED BY THE BOARD; AND

(II) THE INACTIVE STATUS FEE SET BY THE BOARD.

(2) THE BOARD SHALL ISSUE A LICENSE TO A PERSON WHO
IS ON INACTIVE STATUS IF:

(I)  THE PERSON HAS BEEN PLACED ON INACTIVE
STATUS FOR LESS THAN 24 MONTHS; AND

(II)  THE PERSON COMPLIES WITH THE RENEWAL
REQUIREMENTS THAT EXISTED WHEN THE PERSON WAS PLACED ON INACTIVE
STATUS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Cecil County - Alcoholic Beverages
License - Drive Through Facility

FOR the purpose of prohibiting the Cecil County Board of License
Commissioners from issuing or transferring any class of
off-sale alcoholic beverages license for the use in a
business as a drive through purchase facility Under certain
circumstances; providing that existing licenses may be
renewed and transferred; providing that the right to operate
a drive through facility under an alcoholic beverages
