AN ACT concerning

Washington County - Electrical License - Inactive

Status

FOR the purpose of requiring the Board of Examiners and
Supervisors of Washington County Master Electricians to
place a licensee on inactive status under certain
circumstances; requiring the Board of Examiners and
Supervisors of Washington County Master Electricians to
issue a license to a person who is on inactive status under
certain circumstances; and generally relating to Washington
County Master Electricians who are placed on inactive
status.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 22 - Washington County

8-107.

(A) (1) [A] EXCEPT AS PROVIDED UNDER SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS
SECTION, A person granted a license under the provisions of this
subtitle may not install or repair electrical wires, conductors,
or apparatus for electric light, heat, or power purposes after
the expiration of the licenses, or after the license has been
revoked, unless the license or its renewal has been renewed.

(2)  Any person granted a license under the provisions
of this subtitle (unless the license has been revoked) shall be
granted a renewal of his license without examination of the
applicant.

(3)  Application shall be made to the Board by the
holder of the license within 3 months preceding the expiration of
the license upon the payment of a $10 fee.
