Article - Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(m) Each of the judges of the court for Garrett County
shall receive annual compensation in the amount of $600. Each
judge shall be reimbursed for traveling to and from the sessions
of the court [pursuant to the Standard State Travel Regulations]
AT THE RATE GARRETT COUNTY PAYS FOR MILEAGE. Each judge shall
also receive [$15] $25 for expenses for every day's attendance
upon the sessions of the court.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or compensation
of the Garrett County members of the Board of Commissioners,
County Treasurer, members of the Board of Supervisors of
Elections, Sheriff, members of the County Board of Education, and
the Orphans' Court Judges in office on the effective date of this
Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary or
compensation of the Garrett County members of the Board of
Commissioners, County Treasurer, members of the Board of
Supervisors of Elections, Sheriff, members of the County of Board
of Education, and the Orphans' Court Judges, shall take effect at
the beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

(House Bill 1417)

AN ACT concerning

Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses

FOR the purpose of prohibiting the Harford County liquor control
board from issuing or transferring an off-sale alcoholic
beverages license intended to be used for the operation of a
drive-through purchase facility where alcoholic beverages
are sold and dispensed in a certain manner; prohibiting the
board from transferring an existing alcoholic beverages
off-sale license with a drive-through purchase privilege;
providing that the provisions of this Act do not affect the
renewal of existing licenses operating a drive-through
purchase facility; and generally relating to prohibiting
drive-through purchase facilities in Harford County.
