(a)  The Commissioners shall be in their offices for the
transaction of business on Tuesday and Wednesday of each week,
excluding legal holidays.

(b)  The salary of the President of the Charles County
Commissioners is:

(1)   [$22,000] $28,000 per year for the calendar year
[1983] 1987;

(2)   [$23,000] $29,000 per year for the calendar year
[1984] 1988;

(3)   [$24,000] $30,000 per year for the calendar year
[1985] 1989; and

(4)  [$25,000] $31,000 per year for the calendar year
[1986] 1990.

(c)  The salary for the Charles County Commissioners is:

(1)  [$15,000] $19,000 per year for the calendar year
[1983] 1987;

(2)   [$16,000] $20,000 per year for the calendar year
[1984] 1988;

(3)  [$17,000] $21,000 per year for the calendar year
[1985] 1989; and

(4)   [$18,000] $22,000 per year for the calendar year
[1986] 1990.

(d)  The County Commissioners shall receive no mileage for
attending regular meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday of any week,
but shall be reimbursed for mileage, tolls and parking expenses
incurred in travel to other meetings in connection with their
duties as County Commissioners. Reimbursement shall be made upon
the submission of vouchers for the expenses monthly and after the
approval of the vouchers by the three County Commissioners.

(a) The salary for the treasurer is:

(1)   [$22,000] $26,000 per year for the calendar year
[1983] 1987;

(2)  [$23,000] $27,000 per year for the calendar year
[1984] 1988;

(3)   [$24,000] $28,000 per year for the calendar year
[1985] 1989; and

(4)   [$25,000] $29,000 per year for the calendar year
[1986] 1990.
