generally relating to the publication of State procurement
documents in the Maryland Register.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Government

7-210.

(a) (1) Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, an
issue of the Register COMPLYING WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF § 7-206
OF THIS ARTICLE shall be published at least once every 2 weeks.

(2) (I) AN ISSUE OF THE REGISTER, DEVOTED IN WHOLE OR
IN PART TO PROCUREMENT, SHALL BE PUBLISHED EACH WEEK AND CONTAIN
EVERY DOCUMENT:

1. REQUIRED OR, IF THE PROCUREMENT AGENCY
AS DEFINED IN § 11-101(AA) OF THE STATE FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT
ARTICLE REQUESTS PUBLICATION, PERMITTED TO BE PUBLISHED BY §
11-110(B)(2) of THAT ARTICLE; AND

2. FILED WITH THE DIVISION PRIOR TO THE
CLOSING DATE AND TIME OF THE REGISTER.

(II) THE CLOSING DATE FOR ANY PROCUREMENT
DOCUMENT MAY NOT BE MORE THAN 5 WORKING DAYS BEFORE THE ISSUE.

[(2)] (3) To avoid a conflict with a State or
national holiday, with the approval of the Committee, the
Administrator may alter the publication date of an issue by not
more than. 3 days. At least 30 days before the change of the
publication date occurs, the Administrator shall publish in the
Register a notice of the change.

[(3)] (4) The Committee may provide for more frequent
publication of all or any part of the Register.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect October 1, 1985.
