Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 90(a)(4)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Replacement Volume and 1984 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

90.

(a) (4) (I) In Baltimore City and Baltimore County, a Class
B and a Class C beer and light wine or beer, wine and liquor
licensee may sell alcoholic beverages at a bar or counter on
Sunday.

(II) IN BALTIMORE COUNTY, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
12 NOON AND 12 MIDNIGHT 9 P.M., A HOLDER OF ANY CLASS OF RETAIL
OFF-SALE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE MAY EXERCISE THE OFF-SALE
LICENSE PRIVILEGE ON THE SUNDAY PRECEDING CHRISTMAS DAY AND ON
THE SUNDAY PRECEDING NEW YEAR'S EVE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

(House Bill 529)

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Alcoholic Beverages - License Applications

FOR the purpose of excepting Baltimore County from certain
general provisions of the law requiring application forms
for new alcoholic beverages licenses to contain statements
concerning or questioning an applicant's citizenship,
naturalization, or place of birth.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 56(3) and (6)
