FOR the purpose of providing that in St. Mary's County a person
may not engage in target practice with or discharge a gun or
weapon on certain lands without first obtaining written
permission of specific individuals; providing that violation
of this Act is a misdemeanor; and providing certain
penalties on conviction of a violation of this Act.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

268C.

(A)  IN ST. MARY'S COUNTY A PERSON MAY NOT ENGAGE IN TARGET
PRACTICE WITH A GUN OR WEAPON OR DISCHARGE A GUN OR WEAPON ON
LANDS OWNED BY ANOTHER WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING WRITTEN PERMISSION
OF THE LANDOWNER, OR THE LANDOWNER'S AGENT OR LESSEE.

(B)  ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION
IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND, ON CONVICTION, IS SUBJECT TO A
FINE NOT EXCEEDING: $1,000.

(1) FOR A FIRST OFFENSE, $1,000, AND

(2) FOR A SECOND OR SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE, $2,000.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Alcoholic Beverages - Sunday Sales

FOR the purpose of authorizing a holder of   any class of retail

off-sale alcoholic beverages license   in Baltimore County to

sell alcoholic beverages in Baltimore  County on certain days
preceding certain holidays.
