HARRY HUGHES, Governor

2003

(1)  Have a degree of doctor of medicine or its
equivalent from a medical school, whether in the United States or
elsewhere, that has standards for graduation equivalent to those
established by an accrediting organization recognized by the
American Medical Association; or

(2)  (i) Have a degree of doctor of osteopathy from a
school of osteopathy, whether in the United States or elsewhere,
that has standards for graduation equivalent to those established
by the [National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians
and Surgeons] AMERICAN OSTEOPATHIC ASSOCIATION or its successor;
and

(ii) Have completed 1 year of training in a
postgraduate medical training program [approved] ACCREDITED by an
accrediting organization recognized by the American Medical
Association OR ACCREDITED BY THE AMERICAN OSTEOPATHIC
ASSOCIATION.

(e)  Except as otherwise provided in this title, the
applicant shall pass an examination given by the Board under this
subtitle.

(f)  The applicant shall meet any other qualifications that
the Board establishes for license applicants.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

(Senate Bill 813)

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Housing Fund

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Maryland Housing Fund to
insure certain financing for housing that includes certain
ancillary commercial or other facilities that would support
the housing and making stylistic changes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
