3. 12 months of experience, acceptable to
the Board, in the field of environmental health; or

(iii) A baccalaureate degree that includes:

1.  30 semester credit hours or the
equivalent in quarter units in the natural sciences that meet the
education standards set by the Board;

2.  A course in mathematics and at least 1
laboratory course in 3 of the following fields: chemistry,
physics, microbiology, and biology; and

3.  24 months of experience, acceptable to
the Board, in the field of environmental health; or

(iv) A master's degree in public health or
environmental health science that includes:

1.  30 semester units or 45 quarter units
of basic sciences that meet the educational standards set by the
Board;

2.  A course in mathematics, and at least
1 laboratory course in 3 of the following fields: biology,
chemistry, physics, and microbiology; and

3.  3 months of internship approved by the
Board if not previously completed; or

(2) The applicant has at least 10 years of experience
in the field of environmental health that meets the standards set
by the Board.

(c) Except as otherwise provided in this title, the
applicant shall pass an examination given by the Board under this
subtitle.]

To apply for [certification] LICENSURE, an applicant shall:

(1)  Submit an application to the Board on the form
that the Board requires; and

(2)  Pay to the Board [an] THE REQUIRED application
AND EXAMINATION fee [to cover the actual cost of examinations and
the issuance of certificates] SET BY THE BOARD.

5.5-303.

(A) TO QUALIFY FOR LICENSURE UNDER THIS TITLE, AN APPLICANT
SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION.
