LAWS OF MARYLAND
Ch. 218
As to the Joint Committee on Administrative,
Executive, and Legislative Review, see Title 2,
Subtitle 5 of this article.
GENERAL NOTE TO SUBTITLE: This subtitle is new language
added to replace former Art. 41, § 14-1, which was
repealed by Ch. 284, § 12, Acts of 1984. At that
time, the Commission to Revise the Annotated Code
believed that the section was obsolete because -the
deadline for compliance was January 1, 1980. The
contents of former Art. 41, § 14-1 are now being
included in the State Government Article to emphasize
that units are required to maintain written policies.
However, the deadline for compliance is not included
in the present language.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
Approved May 21, 1985.
