HARRY HUGHES, Governor                                      1919

(a)  Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section,
each license issued under this title expires on April 30 of each
year.

(b)  Each title service agent's, MOTOR VEHICLE
MANUFACTURER'S, DISTRIBUTOR'S, AND FACTORY BRANCH'S license
expires on December 31 of each year.

(c)  A license issued under this title may be renewed on
application and payment of the fee required by this title for
that license.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That a license issued
or renewed under Subtitle 2 of Title 15 of the Transportation
Article before the effective date of this Act shall expire on the
expiration date specified in the license. The license fee for a
license issued or renewed during calendar year 1986 shall be
derived as provided in § 15-204 of the Transportation Article
based on that part of the license year for which the license is
issued.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1986.

CHAPTER 211

(Senate Bill 540)

AN ACT concerning

The Maryland Home Improvement Commission -
Appointment of Executive Director

FOR the purpose of providing that any executive director of the
Maryland Home Improvement Commission appointed after the
effective date of this Act shall serve at the pleasure of
the Secretary of Licensing and Regulation; and generally
relating to appointment and removal of the executive
director.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
