mutually agreeable arrangements concerning equipment and
furniture, including data processing resources, the transfer of
records and accounts; and furnishing information to the
appropriate government agencies and to the public concerning the
transfer of responsibilities and functions pursuant to this Act.
All equipment and furniture now being used for assignment
purposes shall be transferred without charge by the Clerk of the
Circuit Court to the Office of the Director of Assignments of the
Circuit Court in Prince George's County.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That all employees,
supervisors, and officials, except appointed or elected officials
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Prince George's County who
are performing functions transferred to the Administrative Office
of the Office of the Director of Assignments of the Circuit Court
and whose positions are transferred to the Administrative Office
of the Office of the Director of Assignments of the Circuit Court
by this Act and as directed by the County Administrative Judge,
are hereby transferred to the Administrative Office of the Office
of the Director of Assignments of the Circuit Court in Prince
George's County. The transfer of all employees, supervisors, and
officials shall assure that there is no diminution in the
salaries and, accumulated pension rights, basic accumulation of
annual leave and sick leave, the rates for annual leave and sick
leave, and all other benefits of the employees, supervisors, and
officials. The Circuit Court of Prince George's County is
authorized and empowered to designate, appoint, and employ all
other qualified individuals for the performance of the duties and
functions of the Office of the Director of Assignments as
provided by this Act. All employees, supervisors, and officials
transferred or employed under this Act shall be placed in Prince
George's County pay grades and status as determined by the Prince
George's County Personnel Office after consultation with the
County Administrative Judge.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Clerk of
the Circuit Court in Prince George's County and all employees of
the Clerk of the Circuit Court shall continue to cooperate in all
ways with the Office of the Director of Assignments as directed
by the Circuit and County Administrative Judges.

SECTION 5 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, except as
expressly provided to the contrary in this Act, any transaction
affected by or flowing from any statute here amended, repealed,
or transferred, and validly entered into before the effective
date of this Act and every right, duty, or interest flowing from
it remains valid after the effective date and may be terminated,
completed, consummated, or enforced pursuant to law.

SECTION 6 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or
