HARRY HUGHES, Governor

FOR the purpose of adding certain crimes for which the State Fire
Marshal or a full-time assistant may make an arrest without
a warrant.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

Section 594B(h)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1982 Replacement Volume and 1984 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

594B.

(h) (1) The State Fire Marshal or a full-time assistant of
the office of the State Fire Marshal has the same powers of
arrest set forth in subsection (c) as to offenses listed under §§
6 [and], 7, 119, AND 139B of this article.

(2) The State Fire Marshal or a full-time assistant
of the office of the State Fire Marshal has the same powers of
arrest set forth in subsection (d) as to offenses listed under
Sections 8, 9, 9A, 10, 10A, 11, 11D, 111B, 139A, 151C, and 156 of
this article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Disclosure of Vehicle Damage or

Repair Manufacturer's, Distributor's, or Factory

Branch's License - Misrepresentation

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a manufacturer, distributor, or

factory branch from concealing information concerning

certain damage or repair to a vehicle, prohibiting a dealer
from offering for sale or selling certain vehicles that have
been damaged or repaired unless the dealer discloses in
